You Capture: Flowers

If you have been reading my blog for any length of time,

you know that I have an affinity for flowers.

Particularly the wildflowers growing in my back yard.

Except they aren't really wild because we planted them.

They are cultivated wild flowers;

 and though they are still blooming beautifully,

 I see signs that they are not going to last forever,

even in sunny Southern California,

So I'm going to enjoy them as long as I can.

"Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more surely care for you? So don't worry your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern."
Excerpts from Matthew 6

Cosmos were my Grandma's favorite flower. So viewing your photos made me think of her. Thank you.

Thank you also for stopping by my blog. The flowers were at a wedding.

These are beautiful. I especially love the orange one. I can't wait until I have my own yard and can sprinkle a few wildflower seeds around.
