Technically, these are not the best pictures. The light is not the greatest, some are a little out of focus because we were moving.
Rather, Gemma was moving. She was sliding off the little ledge she was standing on. I was trying to hold her up, hence the movement.
Sometimes though, good photography is not about technicalities;
It's about the moment.

I love all three of these but the last one is especially endearing. I agree about photography being sometimes more about the moment than the technical expertise and I think that's particularly true with a theme like togetherness. The third one really rocked the theme!

i totally agree, it's about the moments. my post this week was the same. i almost didn't join because my pictures were blurry and taken in low light, etc. but they tell the story of a fun night *together* with my hubs that still leaves me smiling.
The smiles and the love is what makes these shots amazing!
